    Cotto's Intangibles

Its funny; on paper, Cotto usually seems to have a disadvantage. I saw this a lot when he was about to fight Mosley. In all the categories, Mosley seemed to have the advantage. I saw a lot of people saying that Mosley was definitely gonna beat Cotto and they wrote this.
    1) Chin - Mosley
    2) Speed - Mosley
    3) Power - Cotto (and not everyone gave him the edge in this department)
    4) Experience - Mosley
    5) Stamina - Mosley
    7) Ring Generalship - Cotto (again not everyone gave him the edge)

On paper, Cotto doesnt seem like he is that great a fighter, but he has "something" that makes him come on top. He has "IT"

That 'it' is balls. He has the ****ing balls to get right in front of you and do what he came to do. Period.

It's his heart, will and desire to win that brings him out on top most times when he is seemingly overmatched.

Now this is why Joe is one of my favorite posters hands down. ^

This is what Boxing is all about. No doubt.

Nobody can take that from Miguel.. You know I wouldn't dare, Joe!

        Damn good thread.

I am not sure Addison, but I think I know why we respect each other as posters. I think it is cause you caught me by surprise. At first I thought you were just another Cotto hater, and you probably thought I was another Cotto nuthugger(especially since I am from PR). But after awhile; after reading some of your posts, I saw meaning in your "madness" hehe.

P.S. I probably hate Cotto nuthuggers as much as you (no names, but you probably know who I am talking about). They just make good posters like me look bad. Hehe, that came out a little arrogant, but I am drunk so dont give a F....

Smarts. He outsmarted Mosley and avoided an all out brawl like Mosley wanted.

It's skills, Cotto's got a lot of skill and discipline.

agreed, especially with discipline, every time cotto gets into the ring he is solid inside and out and seems as though he almost never folds under pressure.
