Pacquiao Says 5 Seconds And It Would Have Been Over

Philboxing.com is not Mannypacquiao.ph, although there is a common forum between the two. The forum is known as PacLand and is one of the most popular forums of any sport, let alone boxing.
Philboxing covers all fighters and fights from the Philippines and has been incredibly successful since it's inception. It is usually in the top ten, sometimes in the top 5, of most visited sites. It lists among it's writers Dennis Principe, Brad Cooney, Ronnie Nathanielsz, Rey Danesco and even Manny Pacquiao himself.
Fighters covered by Philboxing, of which I am also a writer, include Manny Pacquiao, Gerry Penalosa, the Donaire brothers, Jimrex Jaca, Brian Viloria, Diosdado Gabi, AJ Banal, Reynaldo Bautista, Bernabe Concepcion, Donnie Nietes and others.
Some of the fighters they cover are world champions, some are regional favorites, and some are straight tomato cans. To say that the site and it's writers focus exclusively on "one fighter" is inaccurate and ridiculous. That's like saying a Philadelphia boxing website only covers Bernard Hopkins.Comment

I agree. If there's another 5 seconds left,it's over. After that bell Marquez don't know where he was going.Newly-crowned WBC superfeatherweight king Manny Pacquiao revealed for the first time that had he been given five more seconds in the third round, it would have been lights out for dethroned Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez.
According to GAB Commissioner Angel Bautista, who had a conversation with Pacquiao early morning on Sunday right after the fight in Las Vegas, Pacquiao was about to apply the finishing touches of a knockdown he scored earlier, but the bell somehow saved Marquez from what would have been a knockout.
"If only there would be 5 seconds left, it's over," Pacquiao was quoted as telling Commissioner Bautista, who flew to Las Vegas in lieu of GAB Chairman Eric Buhain who could not make it.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao is scheduled to fly back to Manila on March 22 along with his team, and should be in Manila early morning of March 24, Monday.
A big welcome is expected for the conquering boxing hero, whose exploits abroad would put the country's woes, problems and political strife to a temporary halt every time he fights.
Pacquiao is expected to next face WBC lightweight king David Diaz, and then possibly take on Marquez in a rubbermatch later in the year.Comment

the punch he landed in the 10th round was nothing like the one he landed in the 3rd. i dont think marquez was really wobbled from the punch in the 10th.Comment
