wot i want to kno is wots so special about malignaggi...living in england we havnt seen much of his fights...i did see the fight against n'dou and wasnt really impressed...is this a walk in the park for hatton or should he be more concerned??

Nothing is special about Paulie. He is a pretty good boxer, quick hands, but he has no power and looks like a metrosexual. I think he gets publicity because he talks alot, thinks he is street, and got the hell beat out of him by Cotto, but kept fighting. Hatton will murder him in the ring.

paulie's haircut/style irritates me alot

A lot of people say that Paulie has a good chin cause the 12 round beating he took from Cotto, i have to say he does not have a good chin-Herman could have KO'd him in round 7 but he got too wild. However, he does have a lot of heart, he has very fast hands and good movement. He does not use his right hand very much because of problems he has had in his carear and thats why he has such a low KO ratio. But me, I hate him! lol

yeah paulie is a good boxer and a tough fighter, if he can go 12 rounds with cotto he can go 12 rounds with hatton. IMO the fight could be close if Paulie can just stay on the outside and box, but he doesnt have that much power so the most he could do is just tag hatton throughout the fight and hope to win by decision, but still ehh it would be a tough win. I think paulie is among the elite at 147, hes a good boxer whos tough and goes the distance.

Malignaggi would give Hatton some problems because of his slick style but he doesn't have the power to keep Hatton off him. Malignaggi has above average handspeed, his footwork is good, good chin, very good heart but he couldn't hurt a fly.

yeah sorry thats what I meant 140...its early lol....yeah he would definatly give hatton problems because hes slick and fast, and would definatly force him to go the distance. The good thing about Paulie is the later rounds have as much action as the earlier ones, I dont know how true that is with Hatton but hes a tough fighter so I wouldn't doubt it.
