    Reggie Johnson Indicted

Former world champion Reggie Johnson has been reportedly indicted on a second-degree felony charge of theft. According to the Houston Chronicle, a corporation run by Johnson allegedly accepted $120,000 in grant money for boxing camps to be held last summer for children displaced by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, then never did the camps. The Chronicle reports that if convicted, Johnson could face a sentence ranging from probation to 20 years in prison. The 41-year-old Johnson (44-7-1, 25 KOs) returned to the ring for the first time in two-and-a-half years in February to take a disputed decision over Julio Gonzalez for the IBA light heavyweight belt.
