Muhammad Ali.

Before jumping on me consider that we are asked for determination, not walking forward. Ali voluntarily took incredible amounts of punishment to win some important fights later on his career (Foreman, Frazier 3, Shavers...) when taking it was the only option he had left if he wanted the win. He fought 11 rounds with a broken jaw against Norton (1st time). He gave up a lot of money and fame and his prime to not do exhibitions for the us army (everyone who thinks he was going to fight in the war gets the naivety gold medal).

He's the only fighter I've ever seen to recover from a knockdown by doing a backwards roll, get up and come right back in the guy's face throwing shots...I think the name of his opponent was Cervantez. Coked up or not, that was great boxing

That was against Akio Kameda, though he did beat Antonio Cervantes as well. Cervantes was an all time great at 140 as well, though past his prime when Pryor beat him.
