P4P rankings...fact from fiction from ******ity

They say the p4p list is arranged by fact and personal opinion.

Well instead of coming here and just giving a list (like some have been doing) lets seperate "in the conversation at least" opinion from nuthugging.

this doesnt apply to EVERYONE who has their p4p list the way they do but believe me...it does apply to a good 1/3 of all the members here...so dont take personal offense...

If floyd mayweather jr isnt on the top of your list then you are more than likely either a floyd hater or big pacquiao fan

if manny pacquiao is number 1 on your list above mayweather see my last point.

If bernard hopkins is higher than 5 (at the most) then you're living in the past.

If miguel cotto isnt in the top 10 (at the VERY least) then your either a biased floyd fan or you've been under a rock in recent years.

If Joe Calzaghe isnt in the 3rd or 4th spot you are probably a big hopkins fan

if cory spinks is in your top ten you might as well put paulie malignaggi as your number 1 p4p fighter...

basically im tired of these insane rankings...

some moves can be justified but lets face it; you cant really change mayweather being number 1 and pacquiao being number 2 when both continue to win. pacquiao (in my opinion) cant be passed up by calzaghe and hopkins just because he won a close split decision.

i seen people who had hopkins and RJJ in the top 5 of their p4p list...thats insane...

come on guys...intelligent opinions are one thing but some of the names and arrangements are way off...

it looks like you wrote names on pieces of paper and picked them out of the hat to determine who lands where on the p4p list...

    agree?

The only thing I agree with my own P4P list.

The Pound for Pound list not about whose fights have more action. Gatti would be considered an ATG if that were the case.

He is an ATG of boxing imo, not cause of mis 'Mad Skillz' or anything, yeah he isn't p4p quality. But i think he will be remebered for a long time cause of his heart, the way he gave everything in all of his fights. I found it hard to watch the Gomez fight tbh.

But yeah, you can;t say pac is number 1 cause he is exciting! Lets look at it like this. Floyd is ranked higher p4 than Marquez and Pac had all he could handle with JMM and anyone that says otherwise has not watched the fights. Floyd, in a p4p matchup would counter him and box all night and win. Thats what p4p is, who could beat who. Floyd is easily ahed of Pac imo.

                Case in point right here

I think your post just got more viable Frank!

I vote Arturo Gatti as the number one pound for pound fighter of all time ... because he gets hit lots but comes back ... to win ... sometimes.

I think he will be remembered for his blood and guts but not as an ATG fighter.
