Who has the best left hook to the liver?

The left hook to the liver is the sport's most lethal punch, if you ask me. Blows to the head do the job, sure...But people don't protect their liver like they do their chin, which makes liver punches very lethal. If you tag a guy on the liver just right, he goes down and stays down, regardless of how good of a chin he has. I'm just curious to what you guys think, there are many candidates...

You have Cotto, Hatton, JCC Jr and Hopkins. I think Hopkins has the most precise liver shot, Hatton has the best delivery method, Cotto has better delivery method and technique/power, Hatton has better clinching skills so he can sneak it in, and JCC Jr really has a beautiful liver punch. ****, I should've posted a ****ing poll, goddamnit.

Overall, I'd say Cotto has the best liver shot. RJJ is pretty nasty on body punching still to add to that list.

I'd go with Cotto, but Jones and Hatton are better at sneaking it inside the elbow and getting that sweet spot on the short rib. Cotto's left hook to the body is more of a sledgehammer shot, sometimes going around the back. It's just raw power.

Of all time, I'd say Ruben Olivares.

yeah, cotto of today that i have seen. all time though, your right , id have to put micky ward up there. the mick would have em hurtin with that left hook, won many a fight that way

Cotto currently has the best body work to the liver.

Right now it's Cotto, Hatton has a nice one but he can't throw it anymore because of his mauling style. Mosley has a nice left hook to the body too.

I think that Hatton has the best one, fast, accurate and hard. And evidenced by the number of body-shot stoppages which is frankly spectacular. Cotto isn't as accurate although he does hit with more force. As someone mentioned Cotto has a sledgehammer blow to the body but it isn't the cute liver shot. Hopkins has exactly one stoppage to the liver.
