The Malignaggi documentary was sooooooooo badly done.

i thought it was good. nothing fancy or over the top, but it's a good look at malignaggi as a person and as a fighter. it's sweet you get to see him sparring, as well as the different types of training he did in preparation for cotto.

I really liked it, I think the editing was done that way deliberately. It gives the movie a more down to earth feel if you ask me. I didn't like Malinagnaggi before I watched it, but I definitely respect him more now even though the view on the Cotto fight was BS

I had the opposite reaction watching the documentary, it didn't move me at all. Hard to feel sympathetic to someone who talked so much crap and proceeds to get his ass beat. I wouldn't exactly call growing up in Bensonhurst(mostly middle class Italian neighborhood) a hard knock life. I wasn't a fan of the way they edited the Cotto fight either. To me it was an ok documentary.

It was a hard knock Life because his mommy was on welfare. Boohooo, welcome to the club, and welcome to the club that broke that pathetic cycle. The DOC was pretty good and he actually showed himself in defeat. He does sound gay though
