(video) Mosley Says Judah Is Tune-up For Cotto Rematch

SHANE MOSLEY: "IT'S GOING TO BE VERY EXPLOSIVE...AT LEAST FOR THE FIRST FIVE ROUND!"

"I'm definitely looking forward to having a rematch with Miguel Cotto. This fight is just keeping me tuned up until I get Miguel Cotto and perhaps Mayweather after that if he's willing to fight," stated three-division champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley as he talked about his upcoming May 31st fight with Zab Judah and his plans thereafter. Check out what else he had to say as he talks about the fight and shares his thoughts on Manny Pacquiao's victory over Juan Manuel Marquez as well as the upcoming Hopkins-Clazaghe showdown.

I guess a rematch is possible if Cotto beats Gomez then the winner of Cintron-Margarito because then there won't be anyone else to fight if Mayweather doesn't fight him. Mosley would bring the most money to the table.

I can only see Cotto improving in a rematch.

Mosley better think again if he thinks Judah is nothing more than just a "tune-up" for Cotto. Personally, i think Judah's gonna pull this one off.

What about that Mayorga fight he was supposed to have set up if he beats the Cintron/Margarito winner. Imagine a year of these four fights for one man:

            1)Gomez
            2)Cintron/Margarito Winner
            3)Ricardo Mayorga
4)Shane Mosley or Paul Williams/Carlos Quintana Rematch Winner

Arum said Cotto will fight three to four fights this year and if he wins all three or four fights then he HAS to be the best WW out there

Judah won 4-5 rounds against Floyd, and Floyd fights as cautious as a cat in a new home. I see Shane mixing it up with Judah, and getting caught with something. My money is on Judah for this fight.

Shane's biting off more than he can chew. Cotto will be a lot stronger and more experienced in fight #2 (if it happens). It was a close fight, but Cotto was the obvious stronger puncher and landed the better counter shots.

Lampley during Mosley vs Cotto I: "Ya know...you can hear Cotto's body shots 20 rows up". Imagine almost a year later.

I think he'd hurt Shane in fight #2. I wouldn't wanna see Shane go out like that.
He should be able to beat Zab, but in now way would I consider him a tune up no matter how bad his last couple years have been. he's still got that uppercut that can do damage (but probably unlikely)
