Calzaghe: "Haye Will Struggle at Heavyweight"

Enzo Calzaghe, father/trainer of champion Joe Calzaghe, and trainer of Enzo Maccarinelli, believes that WBC/WBA/WBO cruiserweight champ David Haye will struggle at heavyweight. Two weeks ago, it took Haye only two-rounds to knock Macca out in their unification bout in London. [details]

I truely hate Enzo Calzaghe. For some reason everytime I see him, all I could think of is small-man complexe. cuz he seems like a prick ******* and especially after this statement. the man thing to do is congratulate haye on a fine performance and say that he will make for a fine heavyweight. he is a sore loser if I've ever seen one.

I think Haye is getting a little carried away with some of his remarks concerning the HW division... I for one thinks he lacks the proper fundamentals (basics) & chin to compete against the ELITE in the division...but I'll guess well have 2 see

I think that Haye is being hyped up a little too much about his move to heavyweight but Calzaghe Sr. saying Haye looking good only because Macca underperformed is bull****. Maccarinelli is not on Haye's level plain and simple.

Took the words right from me. He's still fuming over the fact the his fighter was smoked in 2 rounds. All of the talk he did before the fight made him look ****** & now he has to eat crow.

am so happy calzaghe snr. finally took a beating, after the ring gave him trainer of the year people were talking like anyone fighting from his corner had a nailed on win. bull****!
95% of his success came from his son, who is a frank warren over protected fighter like all his fighters, but to be fair is one of the top ten pound for pounds in the world, then there is the cheeseburger or whatever he calls himself, who never beat anyone worthy of calling themselves a champion, then there is gavin rees! if you want to make yourself believe you could be a world champion go and watch the rees m'beye fight on you tube, lowest quality world title fight ever IMO.
haye is hyping himself like all fighters do, he is just trying to build debate and a following, he will struggle perhaps against the top guys but if there was ever a time to move up its now, all the world title holders have looked terrible in their last performances!
