In the closing seconds of the Camacho/De La Hoya fight Camacho landed a soft left hand and George yells out, "OOhhh! There it is!!! He's been looking for it all night!!!" Lampley was like, "C'mon George! Don't be ridiculous!" and then George sounded embarrased and said something to the effect of, "Yeah. I suppose you're right."

It's not even that he favors the guy who is losing. Some of these fights (especially the two in the opening post), he goes in completely favoring one fighter over the other. The first thing he said in the De La Hoya vs. Quartey fight was that Quartey's jab was COMPLETELY overrated. Then he kept beating that ****ing bush the whole fight. It doesn't really surprise me when Foreman says the other guy (who is beaten down and has barely won a single round) is still in the fight considering how he knocked out Moorer/Lyle after being beaten down.
He just has a hard time realizing that not every fighter is as powerful/tough as he is.
Foreman does admit that when he listens to some of his own commentary he is ashamed of himself.
He made his feelings clear in round one that Hopkins had no chance against Trinidad, and only stopped that nonsense when Tito Sr. stopped the fight.
He just can't commentate fairly when he is sure one fighter is going to win. His vision seems to get turned off when he is one fighter's nuts.
Lol, that's pretty funny. In the closing seconds of the Camacho/De La Hoya fight Camacho landed a soft left hand and George yells out, "OOhhh! There it is!!! He's been looking for it all night!!!"
