    The slickest fighter in boxing?

I don't know why, but I was thinking about this at work today.

What elite (or close to it) fighter in the sport is the most dependent on jabs, and never goes for the KO. They throw jabs at every opening, and then dance away. Once in a great while they throw their straight in, but not often.

    Some fighters I thought of:

    Paulie Malignaggi
    Cory Spinks
    Luis Collazo
    Joel Casamayor

What can you all come up with?

Collazo isn't too slick, IMO. He's just rangey and quick.

You don't even have the two slickest up there: Calderon and Guzman.

I would definitely ad Christian Mijares.

I find it hard to imagine Wlad 'dancing away', after throwing a jab. Lol..

But seriously- if Wlad had some more coordinated footwork, he'd be an unstoppable behemoth of destruction.

I'm talking about the OT of throwing jab and being almost totally reliant on that punch with other punches being thrown in moderation. Klitch doesn't dance away but with his size advantage his "step back" when opponents rush forward is just as good.

Floyd isn't all that slick IMO.

Not a jabber, in the least. Lead left hook or lead straight right is usually the calling card.

                I did forget about Guzman.

I've never seen Calderon or Mijares.

Calderon's relfexes and talent are more impressive than Mijares', IMO. Both are slicksters to the 10th degree, though. You should watch them if you like that style of fighter.
