Hatton knows he is not ready for Witter?

What I think is that Hatton is going to wait for someone to either beat witter*so hatton can completely avoid witter* or Hatton is trying to delay it longer so he thinks he can improve himself so he can beat witter. But I don't think he can ever beat witter, witter might lose to someone else*which will give hatton another reason to avoid witter* but style wise, witter has hattons number.
