Offensive Joe Louis, Dempsey, Foreman. These guys never avoided fight on a ring and their fights always were fascinating.

Guys like Marvin Hagler & Mike McCallum....

They took you apart. They boxed without moving too much. Fired excellent, hard combos with both hands. Fired off of two of the better jabs I've seen.
Rarely lost their cool...& had granite chins.

HAHAHAHA! Did you see Round Twelve of Roy Jones Jr. vs. Mike McCallum? Jones just freakin' nicked him with a punch to the chin and he fell..to me that took a way from his chin. I'll give you credit for saying Marvin Hagler he had a hard chin..

P.S. I'm suprised no one mentioned like Chris Byrd's style...he's a pretty interesting fighter to me..

            Jack.....

You have probably been watching boxing for about two years.

If you've been doing so longer....you should be ashamed, because ALL of your posts are RIDICULOUS.

You are wrong, 99% of the time...& have the most childish, ill-informed opinions on this board.

You make the Pac/Klit fans look like geniuses.

At least they don't step outside of their little boxes & debate about **** they don't know.

So what...Roy Jones Jr. was almost 28 when he beat up Mike McCallum and he too started his career off as a junior middle weight...
But answer me this...did you see the knock-down? Jones's glove grazed his face...I don't care if you're almost 77...you don't fall from **** like that..and besides who told the guy to get fat. He should stayed at the weight he started at, like Hagler..

Lets give McCallum a break on that one. If it were some bum that KD'ed him than I could see the argument but the man did have a very solid chin for the better part of his career...not to mention the most sinister nickname I've ever heard.

I am a short guy, 5'9" 235lbs, so my style has to be like Tyson's.

I like kostya tszyu's stalking style. Left hand pawing and measuring while the right hand is ****ed and ready to unload the fury. Like the way he cuts off the ring and when he decides to go to the body, then it's goodnight for the opponent!!

Also, RJJ's style is a favourite of mine. The lead leaping lefthook that knocked so many opponents out was awesome! Plus if you watch him, he always ducked or moved out of the way of a punch that was never thrown!! That's just great anticipation and the sign of an all-time great.
