Mayweather Sues Top Rank For Back Pay

Mayweather WILL definitely fight Cotto, assuming Cotto beats Gomez/Margarito/Cintron and Floyd wins his Oscar rematch. People don't understand the process it takes to get a fight made. Things don't happen overnight. When the time is right, Floyd will fight and beat Cotto. And that will be 3 prime undefeated champions Floyd has beaten.Comment

First of all, I didn't say anything about Mayweather. I said something about his entourage. And even so, it is not an ad hominem attack. Stop trying to impress some forum with your intro to philosophy fallacy nomenclatures. Before you get overly excited, the argument you just provided is what one calls an ad hominem.
The fact that he might splurge 50k a night on skittles doesn't change the fact that he is entitled to that money, or that Arum did indeed short change him.
Perhaps he's doing it out of principle and his general disliking for Bob Arum, not for the money.
The truth of the matter is he doesn't even know if he's owed anything at all, and that's the reason he sued for the minimum. How can you say he is entitled to anything if he doesn't even know he is himself. Furthermore, suing people because you dislike them is what I would call frivolous. Go eat yourself some skittles and shut the **** up.Comment

So suing people you dislike because you believe they owe you money is frivolous? Yeah, next time you google a word make sure when you use it in a sentence it makes sense.First of all, I didn't say anything about Mayweather. I said something about his entourage. The last time I checked, he wasn't suing because he didn't "like him", he was suing because he obviously has reasons to believe that Bob Arum short changed him. Now whether the root of this lawsuit stems from his hatred towards Arum or not is irrelevant, because it seems llike he has a legitimate lawsuit.First of all, I didn't say anything about Mayweather. You nor I know the details of this case, and for you to dismiss the lawsuit as frivulous because he spends a lot money on things you deem to be superfluous is absolutely an ad hominem attack.

Last time I checked, you yourself suggested he was suing because he disliked Arum. Ad hominem attacks are irrelevant attacks on a person used in an effort to undermine an argument. I pointed out $50,000 is of little significance for Mayweather, by way of example. The truth of the matter is that he doesn't know if he has been shortchanged at all, and we don't know if he has a reason to believe he has been shortchanged. What we do know is that he dislikes Arum, and $50,000 means nothing to him. In light of these facts what seems likely is that the suit was brought either as a nuisance, or as a publicity stunt, or both. Frivolous you see.The last time I checked, he wasn't suing because he didn't "like him", he was suing because he obviously has reasons to believe that Bob Arum short changed him. Dark Side? Don't you realize that the only reason Marquez-Barrera was made because GBP managed to sign Marquez?
Now imagine Golden Boy signs Cotto, he could make a case for him to fight Mayweather way better then Top Rank has done so far with their double talk.Comment
