For the first time ever Pacman looked tired

Was this due to weight or due to Marquez breaking him down?

tired? he was the same fighter he was the first round. he was just not attacking all the time like before because marquez is a counter puncher and that would be dumb if he does is non stop brawl.

pacquiao wasn't tired he was just disciplined fighter last night

he actually looked a little slower then he use to be but that is because of the wieght he had put on but still he was alot more desiplined last night he didnt rush in to much.

and he was really careful about the fight because he couldn't see from his right eye. although marquez had 2 cuts it was outside the eye while pacquiao's was inside.

I think it was the weight. Pacquiao looked strong, but having to make the 130 limit looked like it was killing him.

I think it was a little bit of both but more to do with all the weight he put on after the weigh in.. it was something like 16 pounds! Pac can't be doing that to his body!

I'm not sure guys, couple of times I saw him he was fighting with his mouth open which i've barely seen before so to me that signals he was tired and prehaps gassing out bit by bit.

OK he was definitely more deciplined and cautious and I suppose this MADE him look like he was tired when he probably wasn't and you have to give props to JMM for making him look like that. You could tell Pacman was very frustrated at times and credit to JMM where credit is due. Pacman was 5 years younger than JMM but at times it looked like it was the other way round.

Pacman is my favourite fighter out there and just hope he stays conditioned 24/7 and looks after his body because I think he guy is such a great asset to the sport of boxing.

nope...never seen it before and certainly not last night. but i tend to believe that the effect of draining his body to make weight and suddenly balloon at fight night to 12% of his body weight is not good for him.

anyhu, pacman fought an intelligent fight with controlled aggression and a much better defense. that was the first time i saw him edged an opponent in the jabs department. he didn't cut jmm in the ring that much as freddie noted though...but it was a matured and a more ploshed pacman i saw last night.

it had to do with the weight cut and that he was throwing some heavy combos that didnt land when he hurt jmm.

when pacman spit his mouth piece out i new he was gassed.
