    PAC - Unified/Undisputed Lightweight Champ?

Pac will fight Diaz next for the WBC 135 strap. Whats next? Theres the rumored fight with DLH, Hatton and even PBF...But I believe the most logical opponent would be Campbell. Not only is it a winnable fight for PAC, but it gives him the chance to grab the other belts and cement his legacy even further...Sure, a fight with DLH or Hatton would generate more dollars, but the risk factor is signifcantly higher. Whats more, he if he fights Nate, it will allow him to stay at 135 rather than jumping right away to 140(3 weight division jump in 1 year...ouch!).

    Your thoughts guys?

Look at it this way. If he goes up to 140 to fight Hatton or PBF he will keep his lightweight belt. He will make tons of money and maybe even win but if he loses he can go back down and still be viable moneywise to face Campbell or whoever has three of those belts.

Good point...but isnt it better to fight 2 fights at 135 first rather than jumping right to 140 for DLH or Hatton...But yeah, dollars will dictate the course of PACS next fight.

And who knows who will hold the 3 belts next year...It may get splintered again and unification will take a longer road to accomplish.

Joel Cassamayor is the lineal champ at 135, not Cambell and i think if Cassamayor wins Saturday we wont see Pac stay around in the division very long because he is a bad match up style wise.

I think Pac-man will thrive as a lightweight. He can knock out David Diaz and then use his "newfound" boxing skills to take down Baby Bull/Campbell, depending on who wins the rematch. Another option would be to fight the winner of Casamayor/Katsidis. I don't know if he will be able to outbox Casamayor, but he'll most likely TKO Katsidis on cuts, or even knock him out cleanly. Anything above 135, however, is probably suicide for Pacquiao.

Just stay at Lightweight and fight David Diaz and Nate Campbell. I don't get the obsession with him fighting De La Hoya, Hatton and Mayweather. He'd get owned above Lightweight.
