the worst of all time was Ibragimov vs Holyfield...still unbelievable to me that such a horrible fight was on ppv. it was a horrible fight almost any way you looked at it

i think he deserves the break too, AND Diaz is a titleholder, but PPV??? c'mon that HAS to be free. You cant keep your big stars hidden away on PPV or else they are never gonna grow...

I agree if you fight some fights against non names you should put them on free tv or regular hbo.

but Arum wont put pacman on regular hbo he believes pacman is his draw which is not true! because this fight will only get 250k ppv buys.

I think pacman and cotto are about equal in drawing power its just pacman probally has more people knowing his name then cotto since cotto is being built up mainly amongst new york and puerto rican fans.

I blame Wlad for not throwing enough power punches, or punches in general for that matter, but yea, I sure as hell blame Ibragimov for not fighting either. The only thing that makes me blame Wlad a little is that Sultan was just standing there most the time. Yea, he was in a defensive posture, but its not really like he was running or constantly clinching.
Um anyways I dont put the whole blame on Wlad. Im not a big fan of the way he fights since the 1st Brewster fight, but I know his other fights arent nearly as bad as the Ibragimov fight. that was just a real bad moment for him.

that was totally ibragimov's fault though he just kept running and running the whole damn fight, holy didn't look all that bad he landed some good punches but ibragimov was acting as if holyfield was a huge puncher

like I said before, Ibragimov wasnt actually running, he was mostly standing still and a lot of the time against the ropes...but he was fighting super defensively most the time.
The thing that irritated me is that Holyfield was clearly incredibly old and shot. He looked so much slower, and weaker, and had so much less stamina than even in his fight with James Toney...and Toney demolished him. Ibragimov couldnt hurt an even older and worse Holyfield than the one a light hitting James Toney took apart? just amazing to me...

the fact that someone expected you to pay to see super old Holyfield and a boring version of Ibragimov fight still amazes me.

Pacman is a HUUUGE draw, so Arum is absolutely correct i knowing that he will make a lot of money from every single PPV card that he headlines.

BUT, you cant GAIN fans if you put him on PPV every single time. Against Diaz, u have a chance to show that very importance casual fanbase what a monster Pacquiao is. He is going to eat Diaz alive.
