It wasn't a slip it was a clear-cut, straight forward knockdown, because of it Manny won the fight. Had it not happened it might have been another draw. While I'm a little sorry for Marquez because he fought an excellent fight, Manny won fair and square in my book, Marquez was just unlucky to get that first knockdown and, then again, lucky to not get floored later on in the fight after Manny caught him with that brilliant sweeping ducking left. Damn that was a good fight.

Everyone who saw Pac as the winner has also stated they thought JMM fought a great fight. I'm not sure how else there is to be gracious. When Taylor lost a close decision, he took the high road and stated he would never want to take away from the winner. Marquez should have the good sense to say he thought he won the fight and leave it at that.

I know inside my heart and you know deep down inside of yours that Marquez won that fight.

Boxing is a 12 round sport.. it isn't based on one round.

pac was a one-eyed bandit or at least half-blind after the 8th...but he rocked jmm in the 9th and the last few rounds. pac landed the harder shots in the 12th and won that rd imo.

If that makes you sleep better at night, then you should definitely believe it. I'm sure JMM rests better thinking there is a conspiracy against his family and his trainer.. Good K for you and your beliefs.

so your making an excuse for pac not being able to finish him? how come you guys say NOTHING about how JMM rocked Pac before the cut?

Fair enough.. people are acting like Manny hurt Marquez all throughout the fight but Marquez buckled Pacquiao soo many times. There was a point at either the end of the 3rd or 4thh round where if Marquez wouldn't of stalled Pac would have been on his ass. I was dissapointed he didn't go for it though cus with the way they did the scoring that could have been the difference.
