Pac on top of p4p Five

Taking time out from the political campaign to post some more truth to you guys. Since, Hatton's loss to Joe Cortez, strike that, I meant Mayweather, the boxing landscape has clarified itself. Here are the top 5 pound for pound fighters in the game today IMO:

    1. Mannie Pacquaio. He dropped JM Marquez again in a bullying rout, and consolidated his status as the no. 1 p4p. Marquez' valiant effort against the stronger and faster Pacquaio does not diminish his standing though. JMM still top ten p4p, IMO.

    2. Joe Calzaghe. An undefeated south paw that nobody can figure out. Amazing fighter.

    3. Kelly Pavlic. Tore Taylor a new ******* last week. Taylor's standing drops precipitiously as a result. The finest right hand since the days of Kostya Tszyu.

    4. Israel Vasquez. The toughest Mexican on the planet right now.

    5. TIE: Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Skilled like a cat that doesn't like to fight. Beating Hatton via Joe Cortez didn't raise his status. Still, his undefeated record keeps him in the top 5. If he doesn't fight before the end of this year, this ranking will have to drop accordingly.
Miguel Cotto. An even money fight with Mayweather will clear up issues regarding both men....if Floyd will ever actually take the fight.

Absolutely. You have to give Pacquiao his props. He fights the best and puts on a show every time. He actually engages and fights, not hit and run ****. He is a fighter through and through.

          #1 is rightfully deserved.
