Personally I believe that whole "boxing is dead" thing is a fad. As in people feel it's the cool thing to say without knowing the facts.Comment

Boxing was in a drought a couple years back but now its definently coming back. The welters are booming and the super middleweight division is interesting and finally the heavyweight division looks like its on the way back up. Also a lot of good young fighters coming through.Comment

Boxing is not dead, and it will never die.
So what if some division are weaker than others... You can't have a new Muhammad Ali after the next Muhammad Ali retires.
I think people compare boxing now and then too much... It's like "Back then, you had Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Leonard, Hagler ..!"
Today, we've got Mayweather, Cotto, Pavlik, Klistchko.. You can just keep spittin names from then and now and compare and you'll never agree.Comment
