Manny Pacquiao was amazing tonight but Juan Manuel Marquez was incredible!

Before you Pac ****suckers start start going crazy over the thread title, I had the fight a draw, but could see Pac winning and I'm not dis*****g the decision. I'm a fan of Manny Pacquiao as well. He was strong, fast, his boxing skills have vastly improved. He showed a decent jab and was able to sneak his right in various times. Dude was the beat he normally is.

But Juan Manuel Marquez showed that age was just a number tonight and will and heart can be just as valuable as physical attributes and advantages. That sweeping left that he landed after a combination was VICIOUS. That was the FIRST time I have seen Pac hurt. He was even stumbling a bit. It was no question that JMM was controlled the majority of the rounds and by majority, im not talking about a landslide but, just more than Pac. He landed more punches and his % was STILL higher. Unfortunately, Pac landed very many hard and effective punches. Juan though, wow. Tonight, Juan fought an AMAZING technical and aggressive fight. **** all of those elitist "pure boxing fan" faqqots consider him a "brawler" just because he is also offensive minded.

Anyway, cong**** to Pac. I cant wait to see how he does at lightweight. As for Juan, I dont think this loss damaged his stock much. The decision seems to be heavily disputed and I think Mexican fans will embrace him even more now after a brave and amazing performance. One thing I am certain of though, I am very proud to be a Juan Manuel Marquez fan.

Well said carnal but I still think Marquez did enough to win the fight, fought Manny toe-to-toe and showed true boxing skills, not a robbery but a victory for Marquez.

Both were incredible tonight, warriors in the truest sense. That being said, I disagree with you when you say Marquez controlled the fight. Absolutely wrong, Pacquiao bought the fight to Marquez the whole night. Marquez's jab was nowhere to be seen and he hesitated the whole fight to even throw. He just countered the whole time. Of course he's gonna have a higher %.

Close fight, Manny did enough to win. Marquez brothers need to show some ****ing class.

Great post man. But I'd say it was back and back on who controlled the fight. Pacquiao countered alot more times than people seem to give him credit for.

I agree that's what made the fight so good was each guy took control only for the other to take it back. JMM for his age was amazing, especially when I felt Pac looked better than the first fight and has improved quite a bit since then.
