It is easy for us to say no robbery when were not the one's running in snow at extreme altitude and living in one of the mos dangerous cities in the world.J MM did what he had to to win. Pac has not really improved. I've seen street fighters that fight like him. ALL the filipinos on this forum are so biased. It seems like they are blind to anything not PAC.
Not improved? Are you blind ? Pacquiao's defense is greatly improved. He blocked and evaded a majority of Marquez's punch. He bought the fight to Marquez. He used both of his hands effectively and his overall technique is all better. He's got Freddy Roach as his trainer - are you kidding me?

Common baby.. cry! just to release your pain.. then accept that you're a big loser with your falling hero that have a mickey mouse-like voice! Anyway JMM and Pacman doesn't learn anything since their first encounter! JMM should learn how to strenthen his chin first before ensuring win over Pacman, and Pacman should learn first how to be scientific fighter too inorder to win a convincing win over JMM! BUt let me tell you dudes.. decking an opponent plus a low blow are big matters in a close fight split decision to secure winning, and answering with flurry of jabs and punches oftentimes doesn't works as boxing history tells! No more arguments please!
Marquez lost is more accurate. You mexicans need to stop whining. Pac Man owns mexico now and forever. His face should now be on the mexican flag.
I'm as white American as you can get. I don't really give a **** about either fighters. JMM outboxed Manny. Sure there have been worse decisions, but that doesn't make this one any less poor. Bull****
If you're tired, of it, stop watching boxing. Because I'm tired of hearing this after every close fight. Read this and remember it:
A close fight means that it could have gone EITHER WAY. So there is no feasible way that it could be a robbery.
Stop watching boxing? What are you ******?
Who isn't tired of watching these ****** outcomes. If you're tired of "reading" about these about close fights then stop reading posts on Boxingscene forums.
I know what a close fight it. I said Marquez was robbed from a win!
That was an amazing fight! I have to give Marquez credit, all the credit in the world. In 20 years, I will be an old fart (41, but I'll age terribly past 35) and talking about the greatness of Juan Manuel Marquez. He punched with significantly more authority this time around and fought the best fight he could've. I still think he should've went out there and used his jab more, he would have won the fight. I had it 114-113 Pacquiao, but the fight was damn close and it's hard to argue if it went the other way.
I watched the fight at a Filipino restaurant (or "point-point" restaurant, where you point at what food you want buffet style) and the Filipinos were enthusiastic of course. You could tell that they respected both fighters greatly, but were going for Pacquiao. It was a great atmosphere, pancit and San Miguel and halo-halo.
Pacquiao will do much better at 135 because I could tell the weight was an issue. He didn't have the energy to sustain an attack throughout the fight. In the tenth, he had Marquez out on his feet but couldn't shut the coffin because he didn't have the gas in the tank that he usually does. Putting on 16 pounds over night wasn't helping him there.
Whatever your score was, you have to respect Pacquiao for coming back after the terrible cut that led to a dismal 8th round. I really thought Pacquiao had let the fight slip away, but shame on Marquez for not exploiting the cut with the jab. He went right hand crazy when it was the jab that would've stopped Pacquiao. Pacquiao was able to come back and for that, you have to give him credit. That cut was in the worst spot it could've been.
Much respect to both fighters, they were both amazing combatants tonight. Wow.
