Does anyone have the final compubox numbers punches landed??? No way did manny win, marquez has never had a break in his career. He controlled much more of the fight hit pac man with so many straight rights and lefts to the body.

Close fight...wrong decision. No robbery, but there really needs to be a judge that watches it on tv with no commetating and the other two at ringside sitting on the same side.

u dont know how to score then in several rounds Marquez was hurt and back peddling. He also should have lost and extra point in round 2.

Internet boxing fans after a close decision: "Robbery! I'm thru with boxing!"

              Makes you wonder how they would've reacted to a fight like Escalera-Everett, Spinks-Holmes 2 or Coggi-Gonzalez 1.

Wanted to make my own thread but the site wont let me, and then i saw this thread so...

                ------------------

THats as close a fight as your ever gonna see. They decided to give Pacquiao the closest of decisions. Fair and Square.

On another note, we need to get together a petition for a legal execution of Harold Lederman because how he gave Pacquiao rounds 1 and 12 is rediculous. Regardless of who you thought won, rounds 1 and 12 were so clearly Marquez's it was painful.

I scored the fight 115-112 for Marquez but it could have gone either way.

You guys should more be talking about how friggin close it was to being yet another draw, instead of complaining of a robbery.

Pac definitely won the fight and consolidated his status as the pound for pound king. The thing is that Marquez is a great fighter, clearly one of the best counter-punchers of his generation. He was down and on his heels after that. That was the key to the fight. Pac bullied him around.

Some people just can't keep Mayweather out of a thread no matter what it's about.

                    The hate is boiling.

Exactly. Explain it further to xcariot bro.

OK, so xcariot. For example, JMM punched himself out in the first round and hit Manny with everything he's got and Manny not landing a single shot. Let's say 213 landed for Marquez to 0 for Manny. But right after, Manny hit Marquez with 1 punch in every single round with Marquez not landing any on Pacquiao. That makes it 11 rounds for Pacquiao and 1 for Marquez. I think that's simple and exxagerated enough for you to understand.

P.S. You just read the news. You didn't watch it live again. Poor kid.
