Michael Farenas, another "Bobby Pacquiao" in the making?

Filipino featherweight prospect Michael Farenas got a "gift" 3rd round TKO win over Mexican Cardenas, courtesy of his low blow. This was a weird decision to me.
Do you agree that Farenas deserves this win? Or should it be a Cardenas win via disqualification? I would like to hear from the boxing experts on rules here...

That is the first time i've ever seen a fight end like that and i've seen a lot of fights. I don't understand how they could have given the Phillipino fella the TKO from a bad low blow. Surely it should have been a NC or even a disqualification for Farenas, I don't know the official rule on this tbh though.

farenas was winning though knocking down cardenas early on way ahead on cards imo (if you have seen it) until that nasty low blow . this guy hits harder than you think.
