I've seen a few threads stating what if Manny wins. How about Marquez, he is 3rd in the lb4lb rankings and with some talk of Pacquiao rivaling Floyd. Where would you put Juan Manuel Marquez? I wuold have him as number two for now. Mayweather has the number one spot in my mind until he completely avoids Cotto, but an impressive win by Pacquiao or Marquez makes for a great argument. The again, lb4lb is a bit overrated.

I still think Mayweather keeps it even if a stoppage based on his impressive victory over Hatton. however, like I said, if Mayweather doesn't fight Cotto, then the winner of tonights fight stoppage or not, is the man

Probably about 4 or 3. I'd move Calzaghe up to 2.

I have him at 4 right now.

I wish that Mayweather was still a 130lbs fighter, I'd love to see Mayweather/Marquez.

You talk about a boxing match, holy hell........

Anyway, I'd rate Marquez at #2, Pac at #3 and Mayweather still #1.

                2. This isn't even a hard question IMO. Marquez hasn't compiled a huge list of big names, so Floyd wouldn't be in danger of being passed. He beats #2 when he is #3... pretty simple to put him at #2 IMO.

                    Why Mayweather behind Cotto?
