i think if judah, got rid of his dad and got a new trainer,he might think of it as a fresh start mentally....i honestly think he would have had a better career with even more success if he had a different trainer,he seems to only train to go a hard 6 rounds then seems to tire too fast down the stretch..just like the mayweather fight he was faster hit harder and was winning the fight but faded after round 6.i think the same with the cotto fight also he faded badly the low blows didnt help im sure, but my prediction is the first 6 rounds will be fast and intense with judah winning then sugar will still have the gas and judah will fade and mosley will then dominate. mosley by late tko
I think hes gonna win because every one knows zab has the talent but none of the discipline and his father doesnt help he goes all " zab hit em with one of these, wam bam zoom bam bam" when hes losing down the stretch.
BUT... for this fight he is being trained by none other than floyd mayweather sr. which is a big advantage for zab because floyd sr. has been known to change styles effectively (oscar de la hoya, joan guzman etc..) and this could be zabs last chance. if floyd sr. gets in his ass about training and fundamentals he wins point blank .... i hope
I will believe it when i see it. Shane went the distnce with Cotto an De La Hoys, theres no chance that Zab stops him. He would not be able to do that even if he concentrated for all 12 rounds however as it is he will ony fight the first 4 before he becomes a pubch bag like normal
LAS VEGAS, March 15 – With everything riding on the line, the stakes will be high when Sugar Shane Mosley and Zab "Super" Judah square off in a welterweight showdown on Saturday, May 31. Mosley vs. Judah: "High Stakes," headlines a night of world-class professional boxing presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink, Tecate Beer, Affliction Clothing and Southwest Airlines. The 12-round bout will take at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. [details]
Ok, so Mosley says they both always come to fight, and Judah says he's going to take Mosley into deep waters and stop him??
Yeah.. Both of these cats are starting to lose it..
I hope Mayweather Sr. does turn things around for judah, not because im a Judah fan, but because this will be a great fight if both fighters fight at the top of their game for the whole fight.
Just like he was going to stop Tszyu, Baldomir, Mayweather and Cotto.
Oh well, it should be a good fight though. Mosley is the most winnable fight out there for Zab among the top contenders at 147, in my opinion. If he can't beat Mosley, he truly has become a gatekeeper. But it is a stacked division, so that would still mean appearances on Showtime and HBO undercards, and BAD at the worst.
I still think his best bet is to go back down to 140 and challenge Malignaggi or Hatton.
I agree with most people on here. Judah shouldn't be talking about stopping anyone. The last person I can think of that he stopped was his first fight after the suspension (even though it was determined to be elbows). Chances that he stops Sugar Shane are slim to none. I'm still trying to picture in my head how this fight is going to play out.
