Many bad ones , Steve Kim isnt good. But Im sure writing isnt his thing, he is just part owner of a boxing site and likes to help out I guess.

I rate Kevin Iole of yahoo.com as the very worst.

i like how informative about the fighters the guys at maxboxing are.... but they're very biased sometimes and think they're big or something....kevi iole is equally as biased and arrogant....except he doesnt give us anything besides that.....dan rafael is the same..ignorant, a jerk and biased...butgives some good tidbits...

i'll let "the critic" handle ryan ********

anyone read eric raskin's articles in ring magazine???

Man or man do i hope this ****er is held far away from publications.
I almost burned my ****ing magazine reading his ****. whenever i buy ring i always check through the articles to make sure his scum writing is not in it. what waste of a writer, this guy knows jack **** about boxing, seriously.

I read couple of Bert Sugar's books, and i dont want to sound hypocritical because i bought his books, but i think he's a ****ty writer. he does at times provide an entertaining read, but he can be just overly opininated it's not even funny. and he repeats his quotes so many times, i guess he thinks it makes him sound funny, or smart. but honestly the guy repeats himself with exact same writing. it's like he promotes his quotes in different books or something. i read like three books by him, and he used exactly the same quotes in different books lol, even in interviews he repeats them.

this guy is a ****ing hypocrite scumbag too. i believe in 2002 right before a tyson-lewis match he wrote an article titled something like "hell no i wont go" listing all the reasons why people shouldnt go see this fights, and how he'll be far away from that fiasco as he described it. then on espn's ringside show with lennox lewis he says how he was rooting lennox to victory ringside with Leon Spinks. majorly. is that hypocrite or what?

i got one thing to say about sugar: what an old ****sucker.

Thomas Hauser is a wonderfull writer. Major thumbs up. Steve Kim of maxboxing also has some entertaining imformative articles.

Yes, Graham Houston is very good. I'm not familiar with Thomas Hauser.

I agree with the other posters about Eric Raskin, who is terrible, and Dan Rafael, who's poor but at least provides some good information from time to time, unlike Iole.

Bert Sugar is overated, His knowledge is almost unmatchable and is interesting but he evaluates things whilst being slightly biased and it influences his opinions of fighters.
