    King Kessler

without sounding gay or anything but i ****in love Kessler he fights Calzaghe in Wales puts on a great show but gets beat of the better man and is gracious in defeat and then his come back fight is against arguably one of the most dangerous fighters in boxing today away from home. I love him and i will always 'want him to win. Id love him to tear Carl 'the ****' Froch head off aswll.

Yeah he's really good, but I'd say severely overrated by some. We'd have to see him in with a Dawson type who has the elite skill set. Beyer, mundine, green etc aren't on that level. I mean Calzaghe worked him pretty good in their fight.......even though Kessler landed the hard right hands, lol once he did.......Calzaghe just came back throwing punches.

Anyways a fighter who poses problems because of the angles he uses in Dawson might reak havoc on Kessler. That creates then again a smoke and mirror complex about Kessler as a fighter.

I mean Kessler is definitely a better fighter than Adamek.........but what Dawson was able to do to the euro boxer puncher style was ugly. He made Adamek look awful at times (except when he got caught and put down).

Dawson is also overrated imo. I think woods beats him easy.

        K.

Woods is also severely underrated in my view. So Immediately I wouldn't pick Dawson against a LHW Champ who has fought there consistently.

if i was kessler tho and i was stepping up the LHW, Dawson would not be my first fight at that weight tho. I'd fight RJJ or danny green then dawson. But knowing kessler he will want to fight the best straight away.

the favorite fighter of every poster in this thread is overrated. and to the thread starter, just ad "no ****" after anything you may think sounds gay and its ok. for example, "Damn, David Haye's muscles were all glistening with sweat under the hot lights of the stadium, no **** of course".

Dawson and Kessler are both overrated but that might be because they are the arguably the two best fighters emerging as soon as Hopkins and Calzaghe retire. They should inherit the throne of three of this era's living legends (including RJJ who is shot but is still fighting and is a living legend) and they seem to have a level of skill that is above there decent divisions. I do think SMW is better than LHW right now though and I think Kessler would beat Dawson at this stage in Dawsons career as he hasn't fought at the elite level yet and we don't know if he'll cope against true world class, we know that Kessler can deliver even though he lost he made it a contest and even fought in Wales to prove it.

i think everyone likes kessler in that he he is a strong durable fighter with a big heart. he tests the opponent and iis capable of scoring a KO at any point in the fight.

also he isnt afraid to travel and go lookin for the good fighters he fought mundine and calaghe in their backyards. his humility in post and pre fight interviews is a welcome change from the likes of mayweather and hopkins.

                    warrior - you ****in betcha!
