Boxing News: The ten greatest cruiserweights

Trade paper Boxing news this week published a list of the ten greatest cruiserweights in their view... it should be noted that the list was geared towards ACCOMPLISHMENTS, which explains James Toney's low position, and Haye's high one.

Moofo texted me earlier to say he was disappointed that his favourite fighter - Johnny "The Entertainer" Nelson - didn't rank higher. Better luck next time Moof.

    1. Commander Vander

    2. Carlos De Leon

    3. David "Gayemaker" Haye

    4. Alfred Cole

    5. Jean-Marc Mormeck

    6. Johnny Nelson

    7. Juan Carlos Gomez

    8. Orlin Norris

    9. James "roids out" Toney

    10. Anaclet Wamba

Well, it IS based on accomplishments, and he did hold a belt for six years with 13 defences, even if it was the WBO and he defended it against who? and whatisname.

Don't let Moofo catch you saying that, though - he loves Johnny.
