    Jauregui Outlasts Huerta In Cicero

By Jake Donovan - It was déjà vu all over again for Miguel Angel Huerta, who appeared to outwork former titlist Javier Jauregui throughout their main event before winding up on the wrong end of the final scorecards Friday night in Cicero, Illinois.

The bout headlined a full night of action in this week’s installment of Telefutura’s Solo Boxeo.

I thought Jauregui won the fight, he was slipping most of Huertas punches until about the 10th round when Jauregui started slowing down.
Jauregui pot shoted, slipped and moved beautifully through the first ten rounds. I thought the judges were on point.

      nah,
Huertas punches were rolling off Jauregui for the entire middle rounds. Huerta won 5 rounds AT THE ABSOLUTE MOST, still not enough to win even with the knockdown.

the crowd probably just saw Jauregui leaning back as Huerta landed, giving the appearance that he was landing hard shots all night.

117-110 was absurd tho. that meant the judge gave Huerta only 2 rounds. it was closer than that, but nonetheless, a loss.
