    "Team" Calzaghe is a joke.

Theres been a lot of hype in the press over the last 6 months about team calzaghe. But why?

Joe is a natural genius of a boxer, who I have all faith in.

Enzo just got smashed, and when/if he comes back he'll stick to the WBO path of least resistance, having learn't he cant compete at a higher level.

Ree's. Rubbish, and for a british World champ no one seems to like him anyway.

Locket, will to be honest just get shown up beyond belief fighting Pavlik.

Bradley Pryce - I don't think anyone will be holding there breath.

and as for the cleverly and hope fights I've seen, the opponents have been too weak to even hold an opinion.

Yeah, the hype that trainers get from their charge's efforts is marked. Enzo Calzaghe is a good mind and a respectable man but he's extremely overhyped. And that is not to say he's not a good trainer. Just overhyped.

This is based on Enzo being KOed in a 50/50 fight where both fighters have 1 punch KO power?

      Please...

BUT the amazing thing is even though Enzo isn't as good as Haye and Rees is rubbish Enzo calzaghe took 2 pro's who were pretty rubbish to begin with and made them into world class material, he took something minimal and maximised it. They might not be the best champions in the world but there on the world stage and Enzo Calzaghe put em there. Joe on the other hand is something else, a great fighter who cleaned out his division and is now looking to the big names for his last few fights.

50/50 fight my ass, there's a reason most were backing Haye.

correct, but most people in the know and not connected to Warren did give Haye the edge before the fight, even if just.

The fight wasn't as simple as who landed first, as frankwarren.tv wanted everyone to believe, it was also about who 'allowed' themselves to be hit first.

Well maybe it wasn't 50/50 but If Macca connected cleanly it could have been a different story. You know what I mean...

                Plain and basic common sense.

thats how i look at it, but there do seem to be far too many people who suffer knee jerk reactions if you even dare criticise team calzaghe.

these are the same people who go on about haye macca 50/50...............

but macca didnt connect cleanly, because Haye was prepared, and is a class above enzo.
