JMM has faded, but has Pac really improved?

I know the media feeds use that Pac has improved with his supposed "right hand". I beg to differ and I see him as the same slightly one-dimensional fighter.

Don't get me wrong, that one dimension he has to his game is EXTREMELY hard to beat. Kind of like Hatton and how he would bully his opponents at 140. It took a true great to really expose that one dimension to that game.

    Anyway, has Pac improved?

    Opinions please.

I thought that was common knowledge.

      Check out his age.
      His fights.
      His cuts.
      How much he gets hit.

Getting up for a fight is such a mind rush for a fighter as we just witnessed with Campbell , I think Marquez is right up for it and will inch this one out ,, should be a great fight Im looking forward to it .

well, his age is a given but he's not THAT old and hasnt been in wars like Barrera/Morales have. As far as his fights/cuts and how much he gets hit. Thats going to happen when you change your style from pure counter punching to effective aggression/counter punching. JMM changed his style to a more exciting one because he wasn't getting the attention he felt he deserved from fans, especially his mexican fans. So when you're more offensive minded, you're bound to get hit. He HAS faded of course, but not to the extent to where he is completely doomed.

As far as Pac, i think he is at the pinnacle of his prime and he did show a bit more boxing ability against Barrera. according to Roach, he's has become a 2 hand fighter so we'll see how much he has improved.

Go watch Pac/Morales I, then watch Pac/Morales II and you will see he isnt a one-dimensional fighter anymore, two different Pacquaios in those fights and Im not a particular fan of the guy, but he isnt like he used to be.

To be fair, he hasn't been fighting the best competition lately. I give him all teh credit in the world for knocking most of these fighters in the world, but they are not world beaters by any stretch. I feel like his promotional company has maybe been saving him for this fight. And even then, he is STILL getting hit plenty.

              I don't know.

I dont have anything bad to say about JMM. He's gay. Other then that. As a fighter he is incredibly gifted.

I think it should be a good scrap.

pac has shown definite improvement. he more patient than he used to be. he understands how to work angles better. these are two improvements i have noted the last 3 or 4 fights.

Yeah JMM has faded, some evidence was in the last MAB fight.
But Pac isnt in his true prime anymore anyways, hes been in alot of battles as well.
He has however, improved technically, giving him the edge in my book.
I think Manny will win, most likely by decision.
But if it goes 12, its impossible to count out JMM, cause he is such an excellent boxer.

Pac’s definitely a more dimensional puncher now. JMM has just gotten, eh…older…
