    Ouch

Former opponents Thadeus Parker, Robert Sowers, Luis Melendez, Anthony Simpkins and Kevin Watts would start weeping out of shame if they read that comment.

paulie doesnt sound to confident in beating witter either. witter is 34 now, and it seems he wont be able to get a big fight untill next year now, and thats if one of these guys step up.

He basically told the truth and king of confess that fighting Witter wouldnt make sense for him when he is one fight away from fighting an easier fight in hatton who also brings in a huge pay package for him,The fact that they would ship in bums for Hatton to feast on while Witter was just around the corner says it all.

Witter is sidelined into fighting Mandatories and there isnt away out unless someone can pay the likes of Paulie M or Torres a ridiculous amount of money to fight Witter...Even D-hop pulled out of a fight with Witter on HBO(Can you believe that???)

Malignaggi is giving us the facts. It's plain and basic common sense, really.

its a damn shame that a WBC champion cant get a fight. its a joke that d-hop pulled out. what does witter have to do? pay them 90% of the purse?

lol, was talkin with someone about what Paulie thinks of Witter and Hatton just yesterday. i was gonna post this interview today. you beat me to it bro.

when a stylist like Paulie tells the world that he thinks Witter is phenomenal.... compared to the opinion of Hatton he gives even when he isnt trash talkin......... its obvious who the better boxer is.

skill repects skill......... talent respects talent

Paulies cool cos he fights with skill and can recognize other talent. and hes not a coward. but Witter would beat him up.

if it goes to a decision........ it will mean Paulie will have spent the fight been smart and boxin rings round the pasty refuse collecter. and that would mean a Malinaggi points win.

Ricky Hatton isn't a great inside fighter when you smother him, only when you take a nap on the ropes. In the mid rounds you would see Ricky start to slow down as he did against Floyd because Ricky tries to be so agressive with his feet in the beginning rounds and starts to tire....After around round 5 Ricky suddenly forgets what he's doing and begins to block the plethora of Malignaggi's jabs with his face, like usual. I think yould see a 116-112 or 115-113 fight for Paulie
i can see this happening too...

malignaggi has to box though and i think we can all agree on that...

we know paulie isnt going to go in there and score a knockout...a knockdown is also HIGHLY unlikely...

Paulie is a hell of a boxer...he doesnt have the power to brawl effectively.

Paulie has to win the rounds...knockdowns and knockouts dont happen for him hardly ever.

Paulie has to capitalize on what mayweather did...i agree with that...

hatton couldnt touch mayweather with a ten foot pole that night...he did a great job against hatton...i bet thats what malignaggi's team studies the most...it hatton in that fight and what mayweather did to immobilize hatton.

hatton also has the shorter arms...and is the shorter man.

                      paulie is: 5 ft 8 1/2
                      hatton is: 5 ft 6 1/2

                      paulie is: 70" reach
                      hatton is: 65" reach

paulie needs to fight on the outside in my opinion...use the jab and if he can keep hatton at the end of that jab hatton wont be able to touch him all night...

i dont know if paulie can pull out a win (im hoping he can) but i know for sure he definately has a chance to win...a pretty fair chance at that...

if paulie wins it would be huge...this is probably the biggest fight of his career thus far...the only fight even close to this is his fight against cotto...which he lost...

so if paulie wants to make a name for himself and earn himself on a permanent spot in HBO's fight rotation this is the time to pull of that win...

he beats hatton only other threat is witter...he does that and we have a new 140lb. champion...

if hatton wins it helps reestablish his spot in 140lb...if he loses he might not see another HBO fight or PPV fight for a long time...

both have a lot of reason to pull this one out...
