Anyone else tired of seeing rematches?

Was just reading about negotiations for a Quintana/Williams rematch.

I can see if a fight is close or is a great fight or if the if a long reigning champ just lost their belt but all these rematches are freezing up the division..I would rather see some variety and find out who is the best.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing these two match up again and am a big fan of trilogies. There's been some belters over the years. BUT there are some which I'm not interested in, one of those being ODLH v FM jr.

If the first fight was close and was entertaining, I don't mind watching a rematch.

yeah i feel the same way.

I prefer fighter if they do have a rematch it down the line. let the loser of the first match earn his right to a rematch, so there is some significance to the match.

like marco vs erik all there matches were two years apart and each match the roles reversed.

in the first one it was erik that was expected to win and to be the future of the sport in the rematch the roles reverse and in the rubber match the roles changed again.

also feel rematches hold a division from moving forward with other fights i rather see. like quintana vs williams, i already seen that match, now i want to see how quintana would handle a collazo, clottey, or how williams would handle those two foes.

I dont like to see immediate rematches unless the fights end in controversy and are great action fights. i.e. vasquez vs marquez

and if they do not meet those two criteria than i do not want to see a rematch or rubber match signed. (oscar vs floyd II, morales vs pac III, pavlik vs taylor II, taylor vs hopkins II)
