That Campbell "win" was as Controversial as it gets Does juan deserves a rematch?

First of all campbell is a don king fighter juan is a fighter who is trying to leave king
Second the match itself campbell was a dirty fighter the fight shoulda been stopped after that headbutt/illegal punch and go to the scorecards but thx to the don king ref and meds juan was told to go and fight with an akward swollen eye and a huge gazh on his eyebrown
Third of all the external factors the judges gave an awfull decision in favor of campbell the fight was way more close dan raphael had it 114-113 and to top it all there was no drug testing another trick king used so campbell could be on steroids
I guess juan was expecting more justice in his home country if they have a rematch juan would whoop the floor with campbell but that aint happening since king wants to protect his old fighter

so u think after all this circumstances that juan doesnt deserve a rematch even if he unified the titles in the first place?

Elgran, you're a good poster with some plain and basic common sense. You dont have to do this, you dont have to make these inane points.

i just watched the fight and campbell won without a doubt imo. i like diaz very much but he did lose the fight. although i think that a rematch will be a different story....i dont think campbell could fight better than he did on this fight, and diaz wont lose his spirits as he did. he just wasnt the same fighter like he did on the second half of the fight, maybe the cut was a big factor , maybe not, but he was just not throwing as much and was being pushed back by campbell.
even though im happy cos it was a great fight and im sure juan diaz will come back stronger than before.

good points campbell doesnt have the fault he took his chance got some glory as undeserved as it may be
but that illegal punch in the 6th round injured diaz badly
that was a clear td or even a dq

It was about as controversial as Calzaghe's win over Lacy.

The only thing controversial is that one judge managed to give it to Diaz.

I watched it over and over and never saw any sort of illegal punch. I could not for the life of me figure out what Campbell was being warned for and then lost a point for. It seemed that he at times was getting warned for punching Diaz in the face. He'd hit him from an unusual angle, but the punch would be entirely clean and legal, and then Diaz would whine and the ref would step in. The only controversy was in the fact that a judge was ******ed enough to score that for Diaz.

Granted, in a rematch (and I think we'll see it), Baby Bull rolls, but there is no need for this kind of post.

There was no controversy in this match, the right fighter won. I don't know how that one judge gave it to Diaz. That punch that opened the cut further was legal, the referee hadn't told them to break and Campbell had one hand free.

If a rematch happens w/in the year for sure Nate Campbell still wins. Diaz w/ his one dimensional style doesn't stand a chance simply because he lacks power on both fists to knock some1 like Nate out.
