Quintana outclassed him. If it weren't for the rematch clause, this wouldn't be necessary. Just like the N'dou/Malignaggi fight.

Looking forward to Forrest fighting again. I hope he gets a shot at one of the big guys soon. Doubt it will happen though. He's too dangerous and doesn't pull in the dough.

Mora at 154? Against Forrest? Damn. How do the Contender people manage to get these guys title fights? Sergio has never been at 154 and yet he get's a shot at a title? I don't care if Forrest is old he is still a force and he is looking really good. I think the Contenders are on their way out. Manfredo chocked against Calzaghe and lost to Lacy. Gomez is going to get smoked by Cotto and now Sergio who has not been active enough is going into untested waters against Forrest? Oh my.
Its the exposure that mainstream TV gives them. It gives them fame above and beyond there accomplishments. People saw them week in and week out throught a television series and got to know them and want to see them again, making the contender stars popular and marketable.

24/7 is attempting to capitalize on this by doing much the same, week in and week out we get to see and "know" the fighters in an attempt to get us to connect better with the fighters and up the human interest factor.

The UFC is flooded with contender level fighters from there The Ultimate Fighter series and that series pretty much made UFC what it is today.
