Whos resume is more impressive at 33 fights?

Joe Calzaghe or Kelly Pavlik? This topic is based only the first 33 fights, so don't count the fights Calzaghe had after 33 fights. I honestly don't know the answer to this topic because its an opinion topic and I don't know enough about all the boxers calzaghe has fought.

I'd have to say Pavlik. Seems like Joe has got Brewer who was sliding by then and Robin Reid who was much better then, on his resume.

Chris Eubank was past-prime too.
In his first 20 or so fights I can't claim to know much about a lot of those names.

I think pavlik took way too much punishment in his 33 fights though. I think if Calzaghe fought pavlik even being the older guy, I can see Calzaghe landing and making pavlik look dumb by making him miss alot. Pavliks been fighting hard hitters the majority of his career, he has been hit by hard ass bombs. That stays with a fighter and has effect in their later career.

That's an interesting point, but not what you asked. If you are now asking who would win now, I'd go with Joe but if you are asking who had the better comp, I'd say Pavlik.

Well, who do you think would win? And because this would be a beautiful fight for Calzaghe to retire with. Win or Lose, you'd have to give Calzaghe a **** load of credit if this was a fight he retired from boxing with win or lose.

Now Joe wins! i love both guys, and Kelly is only 25, and not ready for joe. he may never be!
