I don't get why people are saying Hatton is finished. Is he as highly looked at before the Floyd fight, no, but losing to PBF isn't like losing to some bum. A fight with Lazcano makes sense for him to get confidence back and get in the win column, then after that he can fight the bigger fights. We'll he win those fights who knows, but as of now he isn't done.Comment

Finished
Hatton has been done as a fighter the night he almost got knocked out by the light hitting Luis Collazo. And Mayweather is No Devistating Puncher Either. Hes Done.Comment

Hatton isn't done in term of ability he is as good a fighter as he has always been. The reason people say he is finished or washed up is because he struggled against Collazo and KO'd by PBF. But those were probably his two best opponents in his career in terms of the fighting ability at the time of fight (not in terms of name). Any version of Ricky would've struggled against that level of opponents.
Out of all the fighters considered Elite.....Vazquez, Mosley, DLH, PBF, Calz, Hopkins, Hatton.....etc Ricky has by far the weakest roster of opponents on his resume.Comment

I hate to say it, but the last person to vehemently deny accusations that dont exist about impending retirement or being a finished fighter was naseem hamed...lets hope history doesnt repeat itself here.Comment
