I like what Margarito is doing. He is fully confident in his abilities to beat all those men and he putting them on notice that he is coming. I fully respect that. I don't think Margarito is overlooking Cintron I feel Margarito knows what he wants what he has to do to get it and he is going at it full steam ahead. At the sametime letting everybody know what his plans are to get what he wants.Comment

Interesting, no diss on my boy Cotto but I thought #1 he doesn't watch tape of his opponents, and #2 isn't a fan of the sport.. So I'm wondering at what point he watched Gomez on The Contender?WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, speaking with El Nuevo Dia, said Antonio Margarito should stop thinking about him and focus his energy on the upcoming April 12 rematch with IBF champion Kermit Cintron. I think after Miguels fight with Judah, he began watching his opponents. Everyone who watches boxing, knows that Judah has the sneakiest uppercut in the business, everyone but Cotto that is. How many times did Judah catch Cotto with that uppercut? lol
Look how well Edwin Vazquez did against Judah's upper cut.
I think Miguel learned his lesson. The problem with Miguel was that he has been groomed from many moons ago to beat Floyd and this is why Cotto has a lot of variety in his style and he showed that against Mosley. Cotto lost track and went on a John Duddy mode "I want to entertain" lol and this is why Cotto was getting caught because he wanted to demolish everyone but he had to go to war and risk it. Now he is more patient and is getting back to what I saw of him when he was younger and that is a good thing because back then he was still entertaining but not as wreckless as we have seen him against the likes of Corley, Torres and Judah.
Any fighter who does not study his opponent, is a fool and I think Cotto was being foolish. I hope for his sake, he learned his lesson well.Comment
