Cotto is a high risk guy in the ring with exciting fights but once those gloves come off its......I work very hard and....I do my best for the fans.....I ready and work very hard for whoever they put in front of me.

If he had some of that PBF flash along with his fighting style (and vulnerability) he would be make twice as much money per fight at this time.
Good point. I have always wondered if it goes beyond natural shyness. Cotto has talked about his non-interest in the sport on more than one occasion. He even went so far as to say he "..doesn't like Boxing.."

How could his heart possibly be in it? I wonder what he'd rather be doing..

His heart has to be in it, well maybe not his heart in terms of he loves the sport like Mosley does but at least heart in the sense he gives it the dedication, respect and works very hard in the constant pursuit of trying to improve his skills.

I believe if his heart wasn't in it he wouldn't have been able to make weight at jrWW for those last few fights. He looked literally looked like a POW or drug addict in those last few weight-ins. I know about cutting weight, although not as drastically as Cotto (wrestled HS and College) and if your heart aint in it you are not making that weight.

Fear can also be strong motivating force. Money as well..

I hear what you're saying, good words - but there are billions of people who bust their ass everyday and absolutely despise what they do for a living. Buckling down and working hard is a mode of operation, not nescessarily an outlook in my view.. One thing we know about Miguel is that he was raised by a military man who took no bull****. Perhaps that made him capable of muscling a job he "does not like."

Yeah, I think I remember that. Floyd is definately proving it. Doing the wrestling and the other promotional stuff is good for his pocket, but is a betrayal to his gift of talent in the sport he was born to do. Fighting De La Hoya is something, but not enough! HaHA..

Cotto is left handed so hitting that paper with his right don't mean nothing. Remember he hit Judah in the vagina with his right hand and had Judah crying.

Cotto did not want to be a boxer he wanted to be a baseball player.

Floyd talks about retiring because he does not want to face Cotto.
Remember that after Floyd beat Baldomir or ran from Baldomir all night, he then said he was retiring and this was because he did not want to face Tony Margarito.

Remember when Floyd was in tears?
                This was from fear.
                Fear of Tony.

Right after Hatton fight he said he was retiring and so Cotto got Gomez and then Floyd said he wanted to fight De La Hoya again.

Floyd keeps telling us he is retired to avoid fighters such as Cotto. He did it with Tony and now he is doing it with Cotto.

                What a little biatch!

Yeah, Cotto has the personality of the average baseball player.

                    That makes complete sense.

                    Too bad he's 5'2..
