Good, people got a bit carried away with the "Kessler is ducking Miranda" stuff simply because Miranda called him out.

Kessler should dispatch Miranda but it's going to be tougher than that.
Kessler is coming off a loss and Miranda can ruin Kessler's boxing with his wild style. On the other hand Miranda's lack of defense makes him suspectible to Kessler's counter punches.

Both have KO power and I don't see it ending in a decision unless their chin's hold up.

Maybe that's what got the fight done...(Miranda callin him out)

For me.....A big Miranda fan, And the first one to make a thread about him on this site, I have to say no matter if he wins or loses I will always like him because he is exciting and fun to watch. He never backs down from a challenge and is the type of fighter boxing needs on TV right now.

Maybe but the fights a natural. Kesslers got nowhere to go. There ain't no titleshot this side of 2010.

Mikkel Kesslers promoter Mogens Palle said today that negotiations with Team Miranda is closing fast. HBO has agreed to televise the bout and wants it on at May 10. The date is by no means certain and Palle would rather the got off in June.

No contract is yet signed but it there seems to be willingness from both camps.

This should be cracker!

When/where did Palle say that? TV, radio, interview, etc...

Yes... I have confirmation for the Miranda side that everything above is true. That is the date HBO wants, money has been agreed on and they are looking for a site somewhere in the USA. 8 weeks from Saturday and we got ourselves a fight!!
