Maxboxing doesn't charge anything to use their forum now, so that shouldn't change. Most of the stuff on Maxboxing is free anyways.

They make it sound like they're doing this to better boxing. If they want to make it better MAXBOXING would go totally free as well. How is boxing going to get better when you make people pay by credit card only to view you're boxing news and clips? Seriously where are younger fans of the sport supposed to get credit cards to pay for it? or just people without credit cards. So if you have bad credit you can't be a member?

Sounds like the end of a very cool forum. If you have to pay to be apart of this, a lot of people will leave. Then it won't be so cool any more. Imagine paying for a forum that isn't so cool any more. lol I belong to a reptile forum, and over the past several years, members have moved from one forum to the next from **** like this. Everyone will just start up somewhere else, and in the end this forum will lose if they think they're going to make money off this. I hope that isn't the case though.

last i checked maxboxing forumz werent free.... maybe it changed i dont know. I like maxboxing cuase of their schedule and some of there articles have very good info about upcoming fights and stuff like that but they dont update evry 5 or 10 min like boxingscene and *********... There videos arent free either.

It's probably more from an "in fear of it happening" than anything else. I've never visited the other forum, but if it's true what everyone is saying about it charging to be a member, then it's easy to see something like that happening from the merger. Again, more of an "in fear of" than anything else.

i emailed dougie fisher about a year ago about some fighters and his site and he bashed this site, and now he'sart owner, owned.
