I think Pascal's backed out. I was looking forward to it, and it would've been entertaining while it lasted. I honestly think Pascal could outbox Pantera, but eventually Miranda would catch him and end it. Pantera-Winky would not be very entertaining fight, in my opinion. Winky's not gonna fight a dangerous guy like Miranda, because there's not enough money in it for him. For some reason, he thinks he's above fighting anything other than "superbouts". We see how he's fared in those since jumping from 154... If Winky was an exciting boxer, I could see him commanding big money and big names. He's just not a high octane guy. I can't blame him for wanting the big money or big names, especially considering how long it took for him to get a big fight (Shane Mosley). However, he got Taylor. He got Hopkins. He beat one of my favorite all-time guys in Ike Quartey, but it was way past Ike's prime. He didn't capitalize on his past huge opportunities. The Taylor fight could've gone either way. I had money on Winky, and scored the fight a draw, but I don't think he won the fight. That was a good, entertaining fight at least. Then when he fought B-Hop, he obviously lost in not so entertaining fashion.Comment

Now Miranda-Kessler... that would be a must see. I really don't see why Kessler wouldn't want to take this fight. Sure, Pantera's dangerous, but so is he. I think that Mikkel would outbox him, wear him down, and either win a clear decision or even stop him. At this point, Calzaghe has nothing to prove at 168, and even though the first fight was very exciting, it was also pretty one-sided. So why would he want a rematch? Is he just hoping Joe will eventually fight him after he's lost it? Kessler is big in Europe, and he could be big in the states. There are so many good fights for him, but he'll probably continue to fight the typical European "contenders". Don't get me wrong, there are some incredible boxers out of Europe. But at this point, I'd love to see Kessler come across the Atlantic. Who wouldn't want to see him take on Miranda, Taylor, or even Pavlik when he eventually moves up? Seriously, Kessler has star power, and is very exciting. He just seems a little timid after the Calzaghe loss. There's no shame in losing a twelve round decision to Joe Calzaghe, especially in a non-stop action fight.Comment

Pascal is not happening. Pascal blew his shot with his ****ty performance.
Kessler may still happen, but he seems very reluctant. Bika is also a name I heard.
I too just hope Pantera gets a big HBO fight soon so he can prove what he has at 168lbs.Comment
