Has anyone else noticed that the covers and photography on Ring Magazine aren't that great in recent years? I know the magazine should focus on its written content, but it wouldn't hurt to start making some kickass covers. I looked at some back issues and Ring magazine used to have much better covers. I think they may even have used the same shot of PBF twice this year.. Wouldn't cost them much to improve.. especially at 8 bucks an issue.

Yes. I agree. I just hope that with the new ownership the web page is updated. The "Bible" of boxing should not have a website that looks like it was developed by a teenager in his parents basement sometime in 1998. I want more then pretty updates. I want some meat. How about historical ring rankings online? How aobut Hot links to boxrec.com records from the rankings?

It is really wierd how Ring Magazine is run.. Despite new management it is still run by a bunch of throwback boxing fans. That page is ugly. I must admit though, I still love getting a fresh copy of the magazine.. Even if the cover is drab/ugly

Juan doesn't realize his own talent himself and wasted it on bums after fighting Pacquiao back in 2004. Orlando Salido, Victor Polo, John, Jandaeng and Jimrex Jaca. Against these guys Pacquiao would have been a great technician too.....plus a bonus KO on all of them.

Well Alden picked Paul Williams over Quintana. He never even gave the guy a chance -- other than making the distance. Search for Alden Chodash Show Feb6 edition.

"gets the sense that the difference between Pacquiao and Marquez is that Manny is a great fighter while Juan Manuel is just a very good fighter.

He lost a credibility with that comment, how the **** is Marquez "just a very good fighter"? Hes 10x more skilled then one dimensional pacquiao and he proved it in the first fight.
