I think Fields and his management really are doing a disservice to his career. I think Fields beats some decent name opposition like Hasim Rahman, JD Chapman, Monte Barrett, etc. by just his sheer size and punch volume...

i give tye the benefit of the doubt, i honestly think that he is a guy who is going to have a hard time landing name fights. for instance, were he to challenge rahman, hasim likely wouldnt take the fight unless he was getting 70 percent of the purse.. calling himself the ex-champ and the name draw. when in reality nobody wants to see hasim fight and fields may very well beat him.

oh i follow you, but my point is a guy like rahman will not fight anyone that might beat him at this point if he can keep fighting tomato cans and get a title shot eventually. the model has been laid out, if youre a "name" heavyweight all you need to do is keep winning against terrible comp and sooner or later you will get your turn. rock is gonna get beat the next time he fights a real fighter, so he is gonna make sure its a million dollar fight
