Mundine, Soliman Prepare For Trilogy Bout

Most Australian fans are against it, but the fight will go on. WBA "regular" super middleweight champion Anthony Mundine will collide with Sam Soliman for the third time. The fight is scheduled for a May date in Melbourne. [details]

Why the WBA will keep on letting Mundine get away fro fighting any mandatory challenger is beyond me.

Of all the alphabet-boys they just might inch out the IBF for worst.

Mundine is a joke and they should strip him of that paper weight world title he has.

Mundine is not the champ though, Calzaghe is. Its just the bull**** way the WBA does things with their champ and super champ crap.

More champions = more sanctioning fees.

I wouldn't expect much less from team Bumdine.

What a complete waste of talent. Why in the world would he fight someone whom he already beat twice, and one was a total beat down. I hope Solimon finds a way to win, **** Mundine.

What makes they IBF so bad? I remember reading something that happened in 1999, but I don't remember.

WBA is by far the worst. I'd put the IBO above it.

"Mundine hopes the trilogy bout with Soliman will lead to a rematch with rival Danny Green, who currently holds the WBA light heavyweight title. Mundine holds a decision win over Green, but their fight was one of the most lucrative in Australian boxing history and most predict the rematch will do bigger business."

                  Absolute crap from Mundine.

If he wants a Green rematch, he sure as hell doesn't need to fight Soliman first, who is a small middleweight.

Green now holds a Light-Heavy belt which is the selling point, & not that much of one, as very few would expect a different outcome in a rather boring fight.
                  Bad style matchup.

The Soliman bout adds nothing to this but a slight feeling of distaste.

Bull**** fight we all know , but I believe the second fight had a rematch clause , or at least thats what Sams manager is putting out over here , nobody in Aus wants to see this fight I dont know how they are going to sell it , I havent even bothered going up the pub to watch Mundines last few fights and wouldnt buy his PPVs for $10 let alone $50 they are asking for , Mundine is talented for sure but he is fast becoming THE MAN that never was .
