    Fenech Considering Comeback?

Hall of Famer and former three-time world champion Jeff Fenech is rumoured to be making a comeback against Samart Payakaroon in a mid-June bout to be held in ****kok, Thailand. Fenech, who scored a fourth round knockout over Payakaroon in a WBC jr featherweight title bout on May 8, 1987 in Sydney, Australia, last boxed on May 18, 1996 when he unsuccessfully challenged for the IBF lightweight title against Phillip Holiday losing in two rounds. Fenech finished with a record of 28 wins and 3 losses with 1 draw. He will be 44 years of age on May 28. Payakaroon will be 46 years of age on December 5. His record is 21 wins and 2 losses. Fenech would receive television rights into Australia which could result in millions of dollars.
    He should stay retired......

        NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Then again, If I was him and wanting some big cash and was going to make a couple million with little risk against another old guy who I already whipped I think I would quite happily do it, completely sad, pathetic and banal as it would no doubt turn out to be lol!

Oh man, I really hope this is just a moronic rumour or someone has taken an off handed comment he made about coming back and whipping an old opponent a little too far! It would be a sad day for not only boxing in general, but Australian boxing and Jeff Fenech himself if he were to do that. For some reason you are always remembered as what people last saw of you...and it would not be a good sight lol.

Edit: Just read the above reply and if it was just an exhibition bout that would be cool. No one would expect anything or if they did it would be to expect a bit of a circus act between two fat old guys, much like when the old timer footy legends come out for the 'legends' games.
God, that is a sad sight
