Taylor was put on ***** street by an old Hopkins who was never known as a hard puncher to begin with. And Miranda's bell was also rung seriously by the older fighter in Eastman also.

I'd say neither Miranda or Taylor are known for their respective "chins". And in Taylor's case, the way to beat him is clear now because he does in fact have trouble in dealing with........punches.
You do realize that Bernard had TWELVE first round knockouts in his first 22 fights?

i can not agree with that man. miranda and taylor were both never koed b4, and were both by pavlik, but b4 being ktfo they ate enormous ammounts of heavy shots, and lasted longer than most guys would have. Especially edison, he ate big shots for 7 rds str8! they both have very good chins inho!

Pavlik does not have a lot of single punch power. I dont see how anyone puts him in the p4p list for power.
No doubt he wears you down round after round and has the strength to finish you off, but by no means p4p material.

Are you calling Bernard Hopkins a hard puncher?

I'd say he can land clean, but isn't known for his 1 punch power.

Hopkins is a pretty decent puncher but was never known as a one punch ****er or even for his power period. He is the type that wears you down and knocks you out from accumulation.

Hopkins is a good puncher. The solid blend of speed, placement and technique help him hurt opponents.

Keep in mind he hurt first hurt Taylor in the 10th round of their fight with a picturesque right hand which sounded like a *******. That **** would have hurt almost anyone. The right uppercut he landed on Joe Lipsey almost lifted him off the canvas.

He wasn't a concussive puncher, but using him to question Taylor's whiskers isn't fair. Taylor has shown a good chin.

I was responding to his post where he said Hopkins never had any punching power. Early in his career, he relied more on it, later more on boxing skills.

Like when people say Calzaghe is and always has been feather fisted. Before he hurt his hands, dude could bomb.
