    Peter-Valuev?

What if this fight was to happen, I think Valuev is one probably the best contender for a title shot. I personally think Peter would get beaten down pretty badly.

I'm struggling to pick Peter against any of the top guys.

Valuev is faster than him!!!....at 7 foot plus and 320 pounds.

Peter is a hardman, that's it.

Exactly, I just see him getting manhandled by Valuev, you cannot beat Valuev head on. I think by the end of this fight you wouldn't be able to recognize Peter. I see it as a very bad match for him.

Close fight, but I think Peter would gas out towards the end and give the fight away.. Plus judges seem to really like Valuev.

Valuev wins this fight for sure....He would outbox Peter and control him with his newly improved superior jab...I highly doubt Peter could hurt the iron chinned freak Valuev...I see Valuev beating up Peter and hurting him in the process on route to a UD.

Valuev is a tough match for Peter. I'll take Peter agains most anyone smaller than him, but Vitali and Valuev are his worst matchups.

Valuev clubs with rabbit punches sometimes too, so Peter might get a taste of his own medicine.

I imagine there were fights like Valuev vs. Peter way back 100,000 years ago. Both of them look to be a step back in evolution - they are very primitive looking. lol

I actually like Valuev. Outside of his size the guy doesn't seem to have much natural ability but he is a very motivated hard worker. As I've maintained since the Toney fights, Peter has not improved techncially at all and in fact has actually looked worse as his weight continues to swell out of control and his in ring activity drops. Regardless of what the scorecards said he was actually in danger of being outworked by the barely active 39 year old Oleg. I say Valuev beats him with activity and takes the decision.

I don't think Peter has the body work or punchout to stop Valuev and he certainly isn't going to take this by points unless King gets involved. Valuev also has a nice uppercut so there is even the chance he could get stopped as the tall McCline certainly did a number on him with the same punch.
